Study Says Android Users Constantly Bring Their Phones to the Shitter

Mashable - A report by marketing agency 11mark found that three in four people are texting, emailing and even talking on the phone while in the bathroom. In fact, about 25% of Americans said they always bring their phone into the restroom. However, the survey — conducted among 1,000 Americans — revealed that Android users are slightly more likely to use their phones in the bathroom compared to other device owners. About 87% of Android users have used their phone while going to the bathroom compared with 84% of BlackBerry users and 77% of iPhone users.

I mean… It’s better than bringing your laptop to the shitter…

I really don’t see what the big deal is. It’s not like you’re going to wipe your ass on your phone. As long as you follow the golden rules, you’re good:

Start shit
Use phone (not for calls, asshole)
Put phone away in a pocket
Wipe ass
Flush toilet
Wash hands
Leave shitter

Phone is unaffected. Very simple. Now if you’re like wiping your ass in one hand while playing Words with Friends in another, that’s just grimy. I don’t see how only Android people have this mentality.

Season 2 of Mob Wives is an absolute gem. Trash TV central and I love it. I was watching it and I had a smile from ear to ear the whole time. Half of the second episode was a battle royale and the ladies were absolutely killing one another. You have Drita who wants to swing wrenches and put bitches in the hospital and then you have the rest of them going at it. It’s brilliant TV. Brilliant!

You know what really pisses me off about the iPhone, besides the fact that its an Apple product in general? The way it handles mass text messages.

Can anyone explain to me what fucking idiot over at Apple thought it would be a good idea to send all replies to every single person that was ever included? This is beyond ignorant. Reply All should never be a default.

When I send out a mass text, only I should get the replies. Why in the fuck would someone with an iPhone replying be able send it to the entire group?

This affects me because 7/10 people have fucking iPhones and whenever one person sends a group text, I get like 20 texts from numbers I don’t even know, answering the group text.

This is a fucking security hazard. Suppose I don’t want the group to know who I texted? Welp, no can do sonny – guess what? If someone with an iPhone replies to it, everyone will see their number.

Android handles group texts well. Send one message individually to each recipient and the replies show up in their own threads. No need to thread the whole thing. Assholes.

How do I send this shit to Google?

Steps to reproduce

Open the text messaging app
Enter some text, but do not send
Press the back button to list all text message

At this point, you should see your text, and the word “Draft” in Red

Go back to the text message with the draft
Delete all text of the unsent draft
Go back to the text message list

Actual: The text you just delete still shows up

Expected: Once a draft’s text is erased, the message text should not still show in the message preview
