<p>Can anyone explain to me what fucking idiot over at Apple thought it would be a good idea to send all replies to every single person that was ever included? This is beyond ignorant. Reply All should never be a default.</p>
<p>When I send out a mass text, only I should get the replies. Why in the fuck would someone with an iPhone replying be able send it to the entire group? </p>
<p>This affects me because 7/10 people have fucking iPhones and whenever one person sends a group text, I get like 20 texts from numbers I don&#8217;t even know, answering the group text.</p>
<p>This is a fucking security hazard. Suppose I don&#8217;t want the group to know who I texted? Welp, no can do sonny &#8211; guess what? If someone with an iPhone replies to it, everyone will see their number.</p>
<p>Android handles group texts well. Send one message individually to each recipient and the replies show up in their own threads. No need to thread the whole thing. Assholes.</p>

<p>My point is that I haven&#8217;t even seen the Galaxy Necus in person and I guarantee you that the hardware is better than the iPhone 4s. I guarantee you Android 4.0 is as polished as iOS. <p>You have to admit that Steve Jobs was a genius &#8211; a brilliant innovator and businessman. He took a failing company and transformed it into an innovative, popular and technologically influential force that is received positively by almost everyone.</p>
<p>As much as I rip on Apple and their fanboys, you have to respect what the company has done along the way and how they have influenced the tech industry. They really know how to market products and sell the shit out of them.</p>
<p>Here is one brilliant video of Jobs in 1997, before Apple came all the way back to become a market leader. There&#8217;s something about this video that I just find interesting. Some guy is ripping Jobs apart and his response is just brilliant.</p>

<p>Then you get Apple which releases this &#8220;stylish&#8221; stupid piece of  shit. Please explain to me why anyone with a desktop would want to put a  freakin touchpad on it? And wireless to eat through expensive  batteries? Who would also waste $69 on something so useless? You&#8217;ll get  carpal tunnel using that pitched piece of crap.</p>
<p>On Thursday, my  news feeds from the tech sites I read daily all blew up with the  announcement of this fucking contraption. Of the 4 tech blogs I  subscribe to on my RSS there had to be at least 12 bloggers write 20  posts about it. It almost made me rage. I was trying to read Barstool&#8217;s  guess that ass, check out the smokeshow of the day and smut news in  general but all I saw was this stupid thing.</p>
<p>This touchpad  isn&#8217;t even revolutionary since it&#8217;s been done before. Apple just took  the concept and put multitouch and bluetooth in it and released it  knowing stupid brainwashed morons will buy it.</p>
<p>Then you get this jerkoff Apple fanboy MG Siegler over at TechCrunch who writes an article that <a href="http://techcrunch.com/2010/07/27/apple-magic-trackpad-mouse/">the mouse is dead</a> because of this revolutionary new product, and how kids growing up only  use trackpads so the mouse will die. Next, people call him an asshole  and <a href="http://techcrunch.com/2010/07/27/the-mouse-is-dead/">Mr. Flip Flop took it all back</a> was like &#8220;Yeah, it&#8217;s going to be a slow process, but the mouse will  still die. It&#8217;s just a mouse &#8211; stop complaining. Oh, and it&#8217;s still  amazing.&#8221; What an asshole.</p>
<p>NEWS FLASH MG Shithead: How do you play games on a touchpad? How do  you edit audio with precision? Video? You can&#8217;t.  The mouse is far from  dead. You have these $80 laser precision 6000DPI mice that are way  beyond my need or comprehension and you want everyone to switch to a  half assed touchpad? What are we going backwards? Touchpads are good for  laptops and touchscreens are the future for mobile platforms. But not  desktops. Period.</p>

Anything other than &#8220;I fucked up&#8221; or &#8220;We are not as amazing as everyone thinks because we have obsessed, blind followers&#8221; is a downright lie.</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s my problem with Apple. No matter how good or bad they are, people  are obsessed. And any time there is news, it&#8217;s all the rage.</p>
<p>Ok people? Got it? It has an antenna problem, Jobs was warned, and he was a dick with PR about it. What more is there to analyze? So with that, no one cover this any more, I&#8217;m tired of reading it.</p>

<p>Apple blamed the faulty formula for problems users have encountered  with the iPhone&#8217;s signal strength, which has been said to quickly  plummet when the phone is held in certain ways.</p></blockquote>
<p>It just gets worse and worse for these assholes. It is SUPER EASY to calculate signal strength. It&#8217;s measured in dBm, an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). When signal is extremely poor, the phone transmits at higher power. -125 dBm is very bad. -60 dBm is very good.</p>
<p>The phone physically reports these raw numbers based on how it&#8217;s transmitting. On old phones oyu were able to access the transmitting power in hidden menus. On Android, go to Settings&#8211;&gt;About Phone&#8211;&gt;Status and it wil ltell you signal strength in dBm.</p>
<p>But obviously users wouldn&#8217;t know what this means, so they are converted to bars for convenience. It&#8217;s not that hard to program a phone to say &#8220;okay, if it is less than -115 dBm, there should be no bars. If it&#8217;s between -114dBm to -105dBm, one bar. -104dBm to -95dBm, two. -94 to -85-dBm, three. -85 to -74, four bars and greater than -74dBm should be 5 bars.</p>
<p>Apparently, the iPhone 4 has a software problem where it displays more bars than it should. So when people are seeing 4 bars, it should really be two. In addition, this does not fix the antenna problems when people are holding the phone. Therefore a user can be seeing 4 bars but really have none when holding it wrong.</p>
<p>How do you screw that up Apple? It&#8217;s easy to do conditional statements!</p>
