Looks Like I Picked the Wrong…
..industry to work in. Not that I have a real job yet, but when I do, I will be spending my entire day with fat middle aged/ old men, people from India, various other Asians and rack mount servers. Really nice scenario for me for the rest of my life. I need to figure something out to solve this, because that’s not going to roll.
(This is what I do at 2:18 AM post college. I sit at home and think about how my life sucks. If this were April I would be doing all kinds of fun assed shit. Sigh.)
JLu says:
you wouldn’t want to set up servers with me lol?
Portfolioso says:
Of course I’d work with you busers. I wasn’t clear enough.
I was at a company visiting and I’m talking about comp sci majors who have no social skills and sit and code all day. And 95% of the people were old men.
This is why we need a startup that gets really big, because we can do whatever we want and hire all young chill peopl, fromble and have fun all day.
JLu says:
tell me about it…being a pseudo-project manager for people with no social skills/language barrier problems is quite frustrating. some of my team members struggled on the phone/came off quite rude in IMs. sure, i definitely see myself outsourcing in the future, but i’m only hiring workers suitable to my standards.
yeah man, i’m over corporate. let’s just say i hope to never work in a cubicle again.
