My Spanish Teacher Is Dead Wrong

Harvard or no Harvard, I have to disagree with the grammar of this teacher. Don’t get me wrong, she is an excellent Spanish teacher and a really nice person, but I think it’s time to get this straight.

So in Spanish, we are learning how to distinguish the subjunctive form and the regular form. Now listen up. If the command is negative, you use the subjunctive form. Take the verb doubt (dudar), for example. Since dudar means to doubt, that is negative. If I doubt that he was a good student, that is a negative statement. “NO WAY!!” claims the completely wrong teacher (who probably couldn’t hear my question in class). Now If I don’t doubt (no dudar), that is positive. If I don’t doubt that you are nice, that means that you are nice. The same thing with the verb creer (to believe). If I believe that you will do something, that is positive (taking the regular present verb form) If I do not believe (no creer) that is negative and takes the subjunctive form.

That is my point. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Wriggley Wrappers

Fat Meez and I have discovered (excuse me if someone else found out before us, I am just unaware of it) that you can peel the foil off of any Wrigley chewing gum wrapper and stick it on to things like a sticker!! Isn’t that fun? This picture is misleading though because it doesn’t show the foil peeling off in nice big pieces. Anyway enough rambling about nonsense…

The Weather

The weather is really pissing me off lately. First of all, let me tell you that I do like freezing cold winter weather. However, I do like nice and warm weather in the spring and summer. Anyway were over here in May and it’s raining like every day. The weather is shit. It should be in the 70s and it’s like 55 and raining.

Summer and winter outlook forecast
The weather patterns have changed. It is obvious that we will have a cool and rainy summer followed by a warm snowless winter. That’s right everyone, we have entered the shit weather pattern again. I remember that the summer of 2001 was very cool and rainy. A warm winter followed that. The year after, it was an extremely hot summer with something like 20 or more days above 90. The winter that followed? Very snowy. So that’s the latest scoop and little history refreshment.

(Yeah how interesting, I’m sure you all care about weather…)

Annoying Popups

Popups are very annoying, but at least you can close normal ones. But perhaps, the most annoying popup is one that tries to install something on your computer without you really knowing what it is. It has a little “Would you like to install such and such on your computer” Yes or No. (Now don’t get me wrong some of these things are good and necessary. Good computer users carefully monitor which ones to put on and which ones are useless wastes of space.)

Anyway my point… You can’t close them. I didn’t want some swimsuit manager useless shit thingy on my computer and I clicked no. Then it says oops, you forgot to click yes. Um Asshole, I clicked no for a reason and didn’t forget shit. Then when I kept clicking no, this oops thing keeps popping up. How damn annoying. I don’t want your shitty components on my computer, and that’s final.

SAT II Exams Are A Waste

Never take the SAT II exams unless you want to get into an ivy league school. Other then that, they are a complete waste. The biology one is useless and impossible. The regents is good enough. The SAT II exam is just a Princeton money maker. This was the biggest mistake I ever made signing up for it. If you do well, colleges don’t give a shit. If you do poorly, you’re screwed. Take my advice, everyone. Also having a jackass biology teacher doesn’t help.
